Have you seen those awesome underwater shots in Blue planet II well my dear friends I have managed to replicate the waters inside a blender shader which is based on real physics of light and scattering.
it approximates rayleigh scattering depth colour absorption and it is a double sided material which allows it to be usefull in both underwater and on water use cases.
you can see objects fading into the deths of the sea losing colou and definition
